America today is heading down a path of no return. This once great nation had morals and values but today “anything goes.” What will the young generation have to look forward to and what will they be taught?
Ever hear anyone ask,” What is wrong with the kids today?” Well, from my prospective the problem is not so much the kids as it is their parents. Yep, I said the parents. All parents today want to be friends with their kids and not parents. They don’t want to bust their butts when they misbehave or set boundaries for them. This type of child rearing does nothing but harm the kids. Want proof? Well, consider this, how many kids today are the adults in their homes instead of the parents? The kids are telling not asking if they may do something but, telling the parents they are going to do something. Why? Because the parents do not have the guts to stand up to the kids and make them mind. We now have a generation of fearless conscienceless kids that have no boundaries and have no fear of their parents or anyone in authoritative positions because their parents never disciplined them growing up.
If this is not enough to scare you then take a look at our government today. It is running wild, taking over the banking industry, taking over the car industry and soon it will be running the insurance industry. What is next? Your individual rights! First you can no longer smoke in businesses or on the property of some places of business. I understand if you don’t want to smoke, that is your right. But, on the same playing field if I want to smoke that is my right. So they keep raising the taxes on tobacco products until they get them where no one is able to afford them. Why not tax the alcohol industry? More people are killed from being drunk than smoking. Ahh but wait, that would be dipping into the politicians pockets and that is a no no.
Then there is, what is supposed to be our President, who on the left hand is running all over Europe telling everyone that Americans are “arrogant”, apologizing for the “bad” things that America has done, and to put the icing on the cake, bows down to the Saudi king. Has a devastating economy crisis’s, as fore mentioned, taking over the banking and car industry, looking to take over the nation health care insurance, buzzing New York, without warning, to get photo ops of “Ground Zero”. Woops, almost forgot the Swine Flu epidemic going on to keep your attention averted. Now, with all this going on at the same time to keep us hopping, just what is the Right hand doing? Only time will tell that story, unfortunately.
America the beautiful, land of the free and home of the brave, where is she going now?
