Boston-tea-party-1789-engravingAs in the days of the original tea party where they were demonstrating against taxation without representation, we find ourselves heading in the same direction.
With all the tea-parties across the Nation and the hundreds of thousands of people that participated in them and for the ones who wanted to be at one but could not make it for one reason or another may just have rattled some of the politicians bells!
For instance, the tobacco industry, tobacco used to sell for $1.0969 per pound. After Obama’s tax increase it is now $48.00 per pound. Now, whom among you would have voted for a tax hike that high? (Probably all you goody goody non-smokers but, that is besides the point.) I would call this blatant taxation without representation. Why have they not put a tax on alcohol? Reason: This would take out of their wallets and that is a no-no! So now we that smoke should really consider quitting smoking, and take up drinking! It would be safer to quit smoking after all look at all the accidents on the highways that the officers said,” We suspect smoking was involved”.
I for one would like to know what in the blue blazes some people elected into the office of the President of the United States?
Within the first 100 days of his presidency he travels Europe. While on his European tour he constantly apologizes for America, calls Americans “arrogant” and to top it all off he put the icing on the cake when he, bowed down to the Saudi King.
There never in the history of this country has one of our Presidents bowed down to another man. This is the highest office in the land and with behavior like this it should be an automatic impeachment process started just as soon as the offender sets foot back on American soil.
The mind set of the President of the U. S. should be the best interest of the country and the people. What is on the mind of this president is anyone’s guess. But, you can count on it not being for the best interest of this country. He campaigned for change, what kind of change was he talking about? For the 69 million of you who voted for this man, hope you are getting the change you were expecting..
Ok, it has been 100 days and the President has, in my opinion, done nothing but embarrass and make the US look weak and submissive and this just is not the way a President should act. For an example of a President take a look at the Eagle. It is majestic, strong, bold, powerful, and strikes with precision. They are not weak or feeble.
Whatever is on this man’s mind, in my opinion, is to do as much damage to this country as he possibly can. But why would he want to harm this country? What has the U.S. done to him to make him this bitter towards us?
