What Ever Happened to the Constitution?

56 of our forefathers hashed out and debated the words that make up the Constitution of the United States of America. Not only that but they fought and shed their blood and gave their lives to uphold this Constitution so that future generations could have the freedoms that they were denied. Thus the reason for them coming to the “New World.”
Today we have taken the freedoms granted us by the Constitution for granted. Now, we have a administration that is doing it’s best to take these freedoms away from us and make us a Socialist Nation. For years now we have blindly elected people to the government that want to have a “Big Government” and to more or less dictate to us what we can and can not do. We have not paid any attention to it until now.
Today we have a president that wants to fundamentally transform the United States into God only knows what. But, it is not the United States that we grew up in and it is going to limit our freedoms if not take them away from us. This administration has 30 something “Czars” that are as far left extremists as you can get. It took these Czars and the policies of the administration to finally wake up America and get them to stand up against the government.
Obama and every single one of his Czars have done nothing inside the confines of the Constitution but, have trampled all over it leaving nothing behind but their boot prints all over it. How can we as a nation allow this to continue?
The Tea Parties and the 912′ers have made an excellent start at getting Washington to listen to us but, is it working? After the peaceful demonstrations and the march on Washington on 9/11 it would seem that maybe some of them heard the voice of the people. It is hard to tell if they really “heard” the people or they are just concerned about their re-election in 2010.
After Tuesday October, 13, 2009 it would seem that no one has been listening to the voice of the people when the Senate Finance Committee passed the health care bill that the majority of the American people did not want. They seem to be determined to overhaul our health care system irregardless of what we the people want. The unbelievable thing about this was that the bill they voted on was not all written down. Now there are 5 bills that they will have to combine into one bill that will go to the Senate floor to be voted on and if passed go to Obama for his signature to make it law.
What really bothers me about this health card plan they are cooking up for us is that it is good enough for us but, not for them. Why is this? Why aren’t they going to be on this plan as we are? If it is not good enough for them then they aught to have to allow the American people the opportunity to participate in the same health care plan that they have and at he the same cost as they pay! Fair is fair!!
Being that they have to now combine 5 bills into 1 to vote on maybe if we holler loud enough with as many voices as can be gathered together we just might still have a slim chance of killing this outrageous health care bill and put a stop to this madness.
